Asquith Butler Signage

After extensive building work and modernization of their machine tool technology factory in Brighouse. Asquith Butler machine technology wanted clean fresh looking signage to compliment the clean modern looking building. After consultation with the client and discussion about several different types of signage it was decided that cut out acrylic letters would be a good solution, after providing photographic visuals showing what the signage would look like a final design was agreed.

The letters were then routed from sheets of 5mm thick coloured acrylic the edges smoothed and locators were glued to the back of the letters using a special acrylic adhesive. A cardboard template was then made to enable accurate drilling of the holes in the building to match the locators on the letters. The signage was fit from a portable scissor lift as it was too high for ladders or a tower scaffold. Some etched glass logos and text were fit to the outer glass doors and internal windows as well as some modern silver nameplates for the internal office doors. The project was designed and fit within 2 weeks and the photos above show the finished signage.
